Problems saving a wearable

I'm sending a shirt that I bought from Daz into Hex to make some changes. I am then importing it back to Daz and making it conform to the Genesis 2 model by using the transfer utility under assets. When I try to save it as a wearable preset it says I must parent it to a figure. When I do that I can save, but when I start with a new figure and look in my library and click on the shirt to load it, nothing happens. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you are reimporting and refitting the shirt you would need to save the item as Support asset/ Figure/prop before saving a wearable preset.
This will create a forward facing file to load it and the data assets needed for the shirt.

A wearable preset is for loading an already saved prop or clothing piece in a set parented position to a figure.
