How to make DS write the autoadapted files in a Content folder where I want them?

How to make DS write the autoadapted files in a Content folder where I want them?
At the moment it is erratic and saves them to whatever DS content folder it feels like ...
I read it should be the uppermost one (which I named DS Data Content and which is what I am doing backups on).
How do I kick DS so it does what I want?

In the distant past it saved to the library first listed in the Content Directory Manager, now it saves to the library that you have open and using. I have a "My Personal Library" that I always save to so that is where the auto-adapted gets saved. If I am making a prop I will create a project library for it so everything is contained there and not inner mixed with other contents' data.
OK, so when I load something from a Poser runtime it will create the autoadapted folder there ... how fun ...
Thank you for telling me ...
Wandering off through my round about 30 Runtimes and content folders and consolidating autoadapted ... to get them in one one place for backups ... argggg
Thank you!
It should write any new files to the Data folder in the DAZ Studio format directory you save to; if you don't save to a DAZ Studio format directory it will save to the first DS format content directory; if the files already exist in another content directory it will not create new copies in either the current or first content directory. The files will not be written to a location that is set as a Poser or other import content directory but not a DAZ Studio format content directory.
Thank you for this explanation - it does explain why it nowadays seems to save to my folder where I have my Dazstudio scenes ... I added it recently because it is nice to load DS scenes from my content tab ... I will have to rethink that ...
I wished I could set a path to a folder somewhere in Preferences, like I can set the temp folder ... sigh!
