Can't make an MD shirt work in Daz

If I make a shirt using Gen 3 T pose, and then conform it in Daz and pose it, it looks hideous.
If I make ashirt using Gen 8 A pose and then conform it in Daz, the sleeves go crazy.
Are JCMs the only way to solve this?

Smoothing weightmaps for every joint, then jcm's for the final touch. There are very nice tutorials in the store for them.
I just had a look and saw some tutes that involve ZBrush.
Are there tutes that show how to do it with Blender and/or MD itself?
I used the tutorial using ZBrush but used Hexagon for moving the polygons part.
I might be able to do something like that too. Many thanks.
