Separate Head & Body Morphs for Genesis 2

I have been using Poser for at least 5 or 6 years now and have started to create my own characters. I have that down with no problem. Here is my problem, how can I make separate head and body morphs for Genesis 2? I have created a character for V4 and want to make it so you can use her with G2F also but I can't make separate head and body morphs. I set the head morph and Save As > Character Preset, then I zero the head and dial in the body morph and save the same way. Problem is when I click on the head morph it loads, but when I click on the body morph the head goes back to G2F default, and vice versa when I click on the body morph, I lose the head morph. Can someone help me out? I have looked all over the place for answers. I see so many vendors doing this same thing and would like to know how they do it. I have tried saving as preset shape, and Support Asset > Morph Asset(s). Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. I been working at this for over 9 hours now and my head is about to explode!

You need to save a preset with only the necessary values (though of course that won't clear any other morphs that the user may have applied, so you need to add a note about that). When you save a Shaping preset you will get an options dialogue after setting the name - in that you can click the tick next to the figure name to clear everything, then use the option menu (lined button part-way down on the right) to select only the changed values (the morphs you have set).

I have done this but to no avail. Plus, I am wanting to sell my custom character morphs. Is there a way to have the separate head and body morphs without having to export the obj file into a modeler?

Is this a custom morph, made in a modeller, or a morph made using pre-existing morphs? And are they morphs or a morph? In your initial post you said you had head and body morphs - which implies they are separate already.

I am using morphs that I made using dials with V4 and the ++ Morphs. I have the head and body morphs separate from each other for poser and I was wanting to do the same thing with G2F for Daz.

So, as long as the morphs themselves have separate head and body components you can do what I said above - set up just the head morphs, save a preset with only the changed values, then do the same for the body morphs.

When I do that it saves a whole bunch of files though. Shouldn't it be just 1 file for the head morph and 1 file for the body morph? Also, I can never get those files it saves, to work.

You are doing File>Save as>Shaping preset? And using the morphs directly, not spawning new morphs by exporting the combined shape and bringing it in via Morph Loader (which would not be permitted for sharing, and is a bad idea anyway as you lose any correction morphs linked to the shapes).

In which case you need to be saving settings for the existing morphs, which will then be required products for your characters. As long as the morphs you are using are head or body but not head morphs you can save two presets, one for head and one for body, as well as a master preset for both.
