What does "PoserCF" mean on download manager listings?

Are these extraneous files if you're not using Poser? Or are they part of the DAZ item?

    Extraneous if not using Poser.

CF stands for "compatibility files", if I remember correctly. A lot of older content was made for Poser, in which case you'd need the original Poser files plus the Daz Studio CF files to make it work properly in DS. Richard Haseltine should be in soon to correct me if I got anything wrong.

Companion Files. PoserCFs are for loading Daz Studio files into Poser using the DSON Importer (which is not compatible with the latest Poser versions anyway).

Thanks, Richard. I guess I don't need to install them, then.
