Mia 6?

Okay, something that's been driving my curiosity since the Callie 6 Thread is a certain character name-drop that a member noted in the Woodland Huntress for Genesis 2 Female(s) product. The character name in question is "Mia 6". However, upon exploring the FBMs via the ReadMe File List or even the Hidden Properties in DS itself, there doesn't seem to be any shape under that name or even similar to it. This product has been out for some time now and yet DAZ or the PA's hasn't corrected it.
So, is this "Mia" yet another new character in the queue or is it just a trick DAZ played on us hunters?

Nope. I checked for that as soon as I bought it, too. Some people even thought it was maybe a typo for Mei Lin, who was the new character at the time. But, not even her shape in is in there, either.
I suggested it in another thread, but it seemed to go unnoticed. Have you considered the possibility that the PA meant to type Mei Lin 6 but made a mistake. I don't have the product, but I suspect you will see a FBM for Mei Lin even though she is not listed on the Product Page. I could be wrong... as I said, I don't have the product... but this is my best guess. I would stop worrying over this. It was obviously a mistake of some kind since you can clearly see there is no Mia 6 in the product. This obsession that some people have with discovering hidden secrets is amusing at times, but there comes a point when one is just spinning their wheels.

My guess is" Mia" was a typo for "Gia" which is what it currently says on the product page, right betwen Aiko6 and Girl6.

That response came off as rude/harsh, the wink didn't help.
Why would a finished clothing item support a shape that isn't finalized?
I say "isn't finalized" because of the number of figures that have been released since then.
No other products have this "hidden shape" since that release, so clearly it was a mistake.
These speculation threads need their own section.

First of all, how was I being rude? All I was saying was that the Mei Lin suggestion was already rebutted before it was mentioned. Second, unreleased character FBMs appearing in products before official release happens quite often. In fact, I quite frequently purchase such items just to dig into the FBMs and reveal them myself in their respective speculation threads. Fun times indeed. :)
Though, I agree with you. We should get ourselves a "Hunters" section for those of us who like to snoop around the ReadMes and FBMs. That way, DAZ and the PA's can enjoy the circus without worrying about breaching rules.

I too have clothing that have unreleased character FBMs in them BUT the unreleased character shows up not too long afterwards.
We're talking about a supposed character that still hasn't come out - and how long has it been since the release of that outfit?
Hunting isn't the same anymore, ever since these threads have sprung up with more frequency.
Now us private hunters can't even play in the daz docs for clues because they changed it.

I checked and it was a misprint of Gia 6. It should be removed from the morph list now.

Revival of the PC Sneak Peek thread would be very nice to have,
since it used to be a perk of being a PC member (haven't checked to see if it still is)
We've asked before - sadly, don't think it's going to happen.

It'd give us members interested an official authorized place to do so. DAZ and the PA's keep telling us that we can't reveal info on un-released characters, but every time even the slightest inkling appears, whether a typo, an FBM or something in the ReadMe's appears, we jump on it like a pack of wolves, anyway. Again, it sounds rebellious, but it's true. This is an attitude here on the Forums that was seeded by the loss of the Sneak-Peak Thread benefit from back in the old Platinum Club. Back then, all with access to the Members Forum got to see previews of big up-coming releases a good while before they showed-up in the store. But according to some DAZ representatives, there was a change in business, including a cut in staff that caused them to dissolve some communication space between us and the devs. This was also why G2 was sprung on us out of the blue the way it was with just about no explanation.
There have been a few times where they created a few Sneak Peak threads during this Generation like for Gia, Girl, Aiko, Lee, etc., but they were almost literally hours from their release date, so it didn't matter much.

The difference being:
Unauthorized = Change DAZ ruffling their feathers over and trying to counter things they cannot ultimately stop.
Authorized = We regain the privilege that sparked all of this in the first place, a solid place to speculate, hype, and save-up for over new content.
Well, it already looks like we're speculating, hyping, and -- most of us -- saving up for new content.
