Help on these Genesis Morph products (confused)
Hey guys.
Recently I learned of two particular Daz items and I don't understand what these are for exctly. The products are:
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-evolution-morph-bundle
and
http://www.daz3d.com/v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis
Now this is important: I do understand Morph packages, I know what they do, been using them all the time. But these two packages are confusing me. I mean what are they for exactly? I mean they say Genesis, does that mean these are strictly for older characters or something, as in characters before Genesis 2, vic4 and m4 respectively, etc.?
I found a few characters who says these two items are required, others will just say one of them, etc, etc.
Thanks

Both packages are for the Genesis model (After V4 but before Genesis 2). The first is a set of morph dials for Genesis that allows for a high degree of customization in Genesis, sort of like Morphs ++ was for V4. The second morphs the genesis shape to that of either V4 or M4 to aid in fitting clothes, etc. designed for the earlier figures. I think that the product descriptions actually explain it reasonably well.
To further what SixDs said, the M4/V4 shapes for Genesis were designed to be used with Genesis Generation X when you convert V4 and M4 morphs to use on Genesis figure so that they look like they would on the original V4 and M4 by first applying the V4 or M4 shape to Genesis and them adding the new custom converted morph(s). The new Gen X2 doesn't need them anymore since it automatically converts the Clone shapes to morphs for you when you convert other morphs to Genesis.
