Help! CMS Problems - SOLVED

Hi. I'm having a lot of trouble with DAZ Studio and I think it's related to the CMS. Over the past few weeks I've uninstalled and reinstalled DAZ Studio, as well as exported the database and erased the database files per various threads I've found here. Nothing has worked. I'm very frustrated - I can't even search anymore, let alone make custom categories. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks...

    Are you using Valentina/CMS - or did you change to PostgreSQL via DIM? I would suggest doing so if you haven't done it yet.

    PostgreSQL has been found to be much more stable, and it doesn't use CMS at all.

    Do you also use Carrara by any chance?

    Thanks for the response. I have not upgraded to PostgreSQL because I don't use DIM - I install all my content manually. I'll see if i can figure out DIM and get the upgrade.

    And no, I do not use Carrara.

    In DIM there are two entries, one for installing PostgreSQL, and the other for transferring over the db from Valentina.

    It is worthwhile to do it.
