Is there any way to transfer m4 to genesis?

I'm sorry if this sounds odd but I spent around a year perfecting a few characters on m4.
Genesis looks relatively promising but I can't redo the entire thing again. I just can't.
M4 char is made with a variety or morphs for m4: morphs ++, m4 mina, creature creator, m4 ultramorphs which is a standalone morphset I think not put out by the Daz site.
Also I have worked hard on making the skins for my chars.
Is there any way I could TRANSFER all this to Genesis?
Two of my m4s have been sculpted in scultpris, face wise but I don't know if it would let me load those morph targets into genesis since they were made on m4.
also, I am using Poser Pro 2014.
POSER PRO 2014.

hat kind of thing is what GenX is for. Can transfer characters to Genesis 1 or Genesis 2.
Might be a good idea to find the thread and post a few questions first, but it sounds doable.
Conversely, if one has the "recipe", so to speak, the varying components can be transfered individually and remixed if you decide you want to adjust the proportions.
This will do what you are asking about, but it does require using DAZ Studio to do it. http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2
GenX (or GenX2) will transfer things that weren't created by DAZ. Sometimes you have to jump through hoops to get them to go, but the thread should have any number of discussions on the subject.
Yes Gen X will transfer morphs from one generation to the next but they specifically said they were looking to be able to do so within the confines of POSER.
The last version of Poser I used was 7 so I'm of no help, sorry. Hopefully one of the dedicated Poser users will see this and have some ideas.
The base shapes: http://www.daz3d.com/v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis
Yes, I've transferred very complex characters I've created for M4, using a variety of morph packages, to Genesis.
Open DAZ Studio. Load the Genesis base figure. Using the GenX products, load all the morphs from all the Michael 4 packages (Creature Creator, Morphs ++, etc.).
Save this ultra morph packed Genesis figure (you can also inject V4 morphs into it etc.)
Using that DSON thing, open this super-Genesis figure in Poser, and save it as a Poser figure in the Character Library.
Later, when you load this super-Genesis figure in Poser, in the parameters window, ALL the dials for ALL the morphs for ALL the morph packages will show up - so every dial you adjusted to create your custom character will now be available for Genesis.
So you have this super-Genesis saved. Close Poser.
Open Poser and load ONE of your custom characters. Then you must go part by part through the parameter windows for EVERY part of your figure and make a screen capture of your custom settings - like the image I've attached.
When you've finished making screen captures of every part of your character, close Poser.
Open Poser and load the super-Genesis morph packed figure you saved. Now you have to go through every parameter panel for every part of Genesis and adjust the dials so they match the dials in your original custom figure.
When you are finished, your Genesis figure will look ALMOST exactly like your custom M4 character. Now SAVE this Genisis to the Characters Library of Poser with a name you will recognize.
It's tedious repetitive work turning the dials, but it'll give you what you want. In addition, you have the ability and opportunity of adjusting the dials of Geneisis itself, or Victoria 4 if you loaded those, to alter or improve your M4 custom character.
Just make sure you LABEL the screen captures of the parameter dials, and work through the figure in an organized manner so you don't get the dials mixed up.
You can use your M4 texture on Genesis.
If you use GenX you can transfer an individual M4 character with a few clicks by loading in the morph packs he uses, and then applying your own CR2 file to select the correct values you need to recreate your character. You can then create a single morph that represents your M4 character, and you only needs to dial this into genesis to get a character that will look almost identical to the original M4 character. Creating a single morph creates much less memory bloat for Genesis, than copying over all the individual morphs and then setting these to the correct value for your character.
Whilst you will need to use DAZ Studio to transfer over the character, once done it should appear as a single morph for Genesis when you load a fresh Genesis character using DSON into Poser. You do not need to create companion files as you only created a morph.
Regarding your sculptris created morphs, as long as you have an injection file to inject the morph into M4, then they should be transferable to Genesis using Gen X.
Thanks for posting this! I'd like to do this too. How do you apply the custom character CR2 file to Genesis?

Use Load Figure to browse to the M4 CR2 saved character. This should load all the morphs needed by your character, as long as they are on runtime paths that Studio has been configured to see.
Change the Mode to "Create single morph" and then press select and choose "Transfer ON for all non-zero values"
Ensure Genesis is the target, and then press "Transfer" which should create you a morph for your character. Remember that this is an M4 morph, so you need to load Genesis, dial in M4 100%, and then dial in the newly created morph. Apply the correct skin for the character, and the Genesis figure should look the same as your original M4 character.

Great - thanks! I'm going to try it.
Using just Poser the answer is no. Genesis is a low poly model compared to M4. Genesis depends a great deal on SubD. Poser creates morphs within the app in one of three ways: you use magnets to deform the mesh and save as a new morph. You use the morph brush and other morph tools to deform the mesh and save as a new morph. Or you create the morph in an app like sculpturis, load as morph targets into the app and save as a new morph. Check which version of the M4 Ultra Morphs you have. If you do not own the version that comes with a Merchant Resource license check the EULA. The non MR version has a different EULA that does the MR version.
If you purchase the M4 shape for Genesis you can get the M4 face and body shape for Genesis but this will not allow you to apply morphs made for the M4 base mesh. Different poly count, different vertex order. All you will get is an error message.
You can install DS4.x, purchase GenX2 and the add on products you need and see if you can get the morphs you made to work on Genesis. However, given all the morph sets you have listed, you may not get the results you need simply based on the difference between M4's higher res mesh and Genesis' lower res mesh.
