"Sparks flying" props

I recently did a render where a bunch of sparks fly out of a destroyed robot and I thought to mself MAN I WISH I HAD LIKE A VARIETY OF THESE.

There's lots of times where I'd like to have them and I only have the one prop effect. Different spreads, force, lots of sparks, lil bit of sparks, angles, etc.

I have not used PARSIS, but from the product page, it looks like it might be the sort of thing you're looking for.

Hmmm that could work. @Alberto could this do what I'm describing here?

You can use brushes to get sparks that will look real

Hello there. I'm desparately looking for sparks as well, similar to what you have in this render. Could I ask what asset or method you used for these sparks?

  • This product has one for embers specifically: https://www.daz3d.com/iray-fireworx << which works great with some tweaks as shown here (though there's still some post-work on the dust and other flying particles, the sparks are from fireworx):

I used those spark-like embers here as well:

I've also used this product: https://www.daz3d.com/fireworks_19727 as sparks by setting it up as emission for this promo:

That said, it's sometimes easier to just do it in postwork and the brushes mentioned in this thread are perfect.
