Rally Bike
Dear artists
I just noticed that Daz3D has a lot of motorcycles but no rally or adventure bikes. I'm thinking of the golden days of the Paris-Dakar Rally etc. An artist who takes up the theme could then even extend it to classic rally cars Like Lancia, Renault, Citroen and Audi.
- Should an artist take up the idea: PLEASE design the surfaces (skins) in such a way that we can "tinker" with the sponsor decals ourselves. I recently attempted to convert some "normal" cars to rally cars (kitbash). A lot of usable Daz3D cars I own disqualified because I couldn't manipulate the "skin" (promotional stickers).
- Should an artist take up the idea: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE keep in mind that the only HELMET going with it (on THIS platform) is a "Genesis" generation product... some upgrade to G8 standard wouldn't do any harm! For me, a true, customer-oriented "hero" of 3D art is an artist who has thought through the use of his product and has therefore already integrated the helmet or worked on dirt bike equipment as an additional set.... And I think sales are positively stimulated by thinking along like this. No hard feelings intended, I'm just saying.
THANK YOU!

There used to be one in the store, but I guess it got pulled http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/66391/start
This one is for poser, is posable and made for M4 or V4, but works great in DS, just slap some Iray shaders on it and there you go.

Thank you for your reaction and help, but those are Cross- or Dirtbikes.. A motorbike built for a Rally is a very different beast! Rally sport is much more about endurance, navigation and strategy, hence implies very different specifications than short distance motocross races, most visible when it comes to range (tank size), motor size and weight. Look closer at the pictures - it's a completely different thing!
Here in Europe, road-legal versions of those rallybikes are called "Adventure Bikes" and much more popular than dirtbikes because they are much more practical for every-day use and travel. I got one myself - BIG FUN!
Ah, thanks for the info. Not used to those here in the US, mostly it's just dirtbikes.
Seeing as it's even more specific, the chances are slim it showing up here in the market. If you really need one, there might be one here https://www.turbosquid.com/3d-model/motorcycle
