Question about making dynamic cloth animation easier

I have a Genesis 2 figure ( using Daz ) that I have an animation sequence where the figure is draped in a dynamic robe. I keep adding new-future poses to the character. Instead of having to re-animate the drape from scratch each time I add a new keyframe, is there a way I can save the file up to a certain keyframe and then restart the animation from that key frame to the new ones? I know in a general way you can, but the only issue I have is when I begin to add new key frames, the past animated poses don't stay as they should, the system creates an average between poses along the timeline ( as I mentioned in an earlier post ). The thing is, I need to add a lot of future key frames for different still shots I need, and its going to be a real pain to have to reset and reanimate the drape from scratch each time.

Use keyMate/GraphMate to control the Interpolation type of the keys. I think Casual has a free script for this, too.
