This section of the forum could be horribly addictive for me. I appologise if its already created ands I couldn't find it, or of it is listed already and I didn't see it.
but... Has anyone seen a battleship/Navy boat product that is commercial use friendly? I have seen poser/obj products oon sharecg, but I wouldn't trust I could use them for commercial projects. Not sure if there are restrictions against reproducing a likeness either.
i'd also love to see a crop circle field product
a fire station
an old steam engine like the BIg Boy or 1868 - CP No. 60 and UP No. 119 - American Type,
cruise ships (generic),
Snowy owl,
and I'm sure I've forgotten things.

There are battleships for Poser at Renderosity.
I'll go check out the renderosity battleship, thanks.
There's also a Snowy Owl on renderosity as well, look for the vendor Ken _Gilliland.
Not quite a Battleship, but this CoastGuard Cutter provides a nice silhuette upon the water. https://www.daz3d.com/coastguard-cutter
Not a battleship, it's a battle cruiser, but HMS Hood is available ar Renderosity (bot Poser and DS versions). Having had a peek there are also a couple of Nevada and Colorado class battleships available there too
I have the cutter in my wishlist, and I just picked up tramp steamer, and I'll be picking up katerina ship today, probably. I'll check out renderosity for the owl and other ships.
Lots of battleships here depending on the level of detail you need and how much you are willing to spend. It's where I got one of these models

Hmmm ... here is a short test animation I made with the HMS Repulse from, I think, Rendo. No sailors or action, just royalty free music in the bacckground. It might give you an idea of what is out there.
EDIT: It might be possible to use things from ShareCG. When I was first starting out,I found a couple items that specifically stated they could be used commercially. One was only a mesh ... I had to add the textures ... but Daz has a lot of teexture packages available and it worked well.
That is an awesome video. Nice use of the ship. One if my issues is that I run DAZ on a mac and have a yerrible time trying to get off site products to load if they aren't obj. I don't mind adding textures either, sometimes I find exactly the look I need that way.
I'll have to do some searching to find out of the ships that are based on real life boats can be used commercially, that, like photographs of the eiffel tower at night, it isn't a copyright infringement. Those are some fantastic models.
In my original post I suggested someone ceate a vintage style train, and I must say thank you to polish. It's perfect!! It's awesome!!
