Any way to change lacrimal color in a eye?

I am just using default dome light but lacrimal color of one eye looks too bright as the attached image shows. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

I found this problem in textures of many characters. I can improve by changing dome orientation. But I wonder if this is the best way.

The lacrimals are part of the Eye Socket surface (assuming G8), and is probably the only bit that is normally visible. You could try darkening the base colour, or any other value to reduce the brightness, like translucency or reflectance tint. The right eye looks almost like it is glowing, so could be due to SSS and translucency, as opposed to a reflection or gloss, which would make it shinier.
