Easing out Bryce animation

Hello, I have been trying Bryce animation lately .I have followed online tutorials but my problem is that the animation starts abruptly and accelerates and finishes to a dead stop at the end. I would think there is a way to ease down the animation, a smoother start and finish should be possible. Any tips? Should I try the advanced Motion Lab for something like this?
