Hello,
so I just installed Daz 4.8 via content manager with no errors but I have no application to run the program. I manually searched through windows explorer and found some folders installed today labeled DazStudio4. In them there is no exe to run the program. Any help would be great, thanks.

What version of Windows and what security software?
You can also find information on IRAY here. We've listed various threads and pages of interest in the interest of keeping information in a few places rather than having dozens of threads to have to search through.
Windows 7 Prof 64-bit
avast
I will try messing around with avast and reinstall. But I don't see how that would be the problem when 4.7 installed fine.
Well, disabling anti virus didn't work. When I look at what is installed in the install manager Daz 4.8 is the only one that has a ? for the file size. Also when I right click to show installed files a box pops up with no information.
So DIM didn't install anything; check the DIM log to see if it left any tracks. (Gear icon, to right; then show log, lower left. Scroll to the bottom)
I tried again and this is the log:

I wonder if Avast blocked the download...because, while it says 'successful', 14.5 secs is not near enough time to actually install 4.8.
You should probably uninstall it through the DIM and have it redownload/install it.
Ok, I will try that real fast.
Edit: Just checked to uninstall it and it is not even installed. It seems it will be in the ready to install tab then I install it and it says installed. Can not locate it on my computer after though. Every time I open up DIM it shows it is not installed and ready to be installed.
Still no luck.
Probably going to have to try the manual download of the installer...
Ok, I didn't see this the other day. I hope it works. Thanks for your help BTW.
