Completely broken export

How do I fix this. Everytime I export a character they come out looking like something from anotehr planet. I have to export the FBX then reatach the materials which renders the bridge usless. Sometime there are so many blendshapes that are used that its not worth fidning all of them and the FBX export is way faster. Is there a quicker workflow to get this into Unreal clean and working.
