this problem started when i try to load more for 2 models in the same scene, for example two custom models of Genesis 2 Female, when i try to load the second model into the scene, suddenly my pc starts to run laggy and next turns off and power on again. both are in base level of detail, i dont have any display optimization and the configuration of my videocard is for default on performance. my pc specs are the next:

HP DC7600 SFF
Ati Raedon x300/x550 128mb PCi
Intel Pentium D
2GB Ram

2GB of RAM is very little, I'm afraid.

If you only have 2 GB of RAM, then that looks like the answer.

I take it that it is the 32 bit version you are using? Your OS is bound to use quite a chunk of that 2GB, DAZ Studio some more, and loading even one character would take you near the limit.

Ummm....I'm afraid it's a bit worse than that, though.

Restarts like that usually indicate a physical problem with your hardware, typically power related. With a 128 MB video card, just trying to get all that in the viewport is going to really push the card and if your power supply is weak/dying that will induce a restart like you are describing.

The other possibility...overheating...either the CPU or the video card (or both). And pushing things so close to the limits, either is a possibility.

yes i think is the overheating, because i run my pc with the fans so quietly, and when my pc crashes and restarts i put the fans in the maximum speed but is to noisy, and does not crash like the previous situation.

And in that last 6 yrs, 2 GB has gone from almost enough to woefully inadequate. Just like the economy...1 GB just doesn't go as far, these days.
