Daz Content

Which is the best place to Download my content. C/ Program files, or C/ Program Files (x86). I just loaded DAZ 4.8. This looks like it has so much potential but I have had so much getting my Content all in one place. This is the First DAZ I could find my content, but somehow all my content I had is gone. But I did have some problems, My animate wouldn't work. I got it to work in Daz 3, but never correctly since. I read somewhere just a day or so ago that if you don't have your files in duplicate areas that you will have problems.

    Hi,

    First, I know you're talking about DAZ Studio. DAZ is the company, Studio the program. So it's good to use the program name.

    I highly recommend using DIM to install your content if it's from the DAZ Store. Is that the content you mean or are you using third party content as well or instead of?

    Content does not go in the application folder - especially on recent versions of Windows where the location is protected from modification. DS is by default set to use the My DAZ 3D Library in the Public/Shared Documents folder (for content installed with the Install Manager) and the \DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library folder in the user's own Documents folder (for user-generated files)
