I am moving to a new windows system.
Sadly my copy of studio and content is is installed on my system drive.
is there any recommended method for moving a studio install from one system to another?

I don't think it will be as easy as copying the several gb of data in the library over - there is a database and such.

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Yes, it is that easy, because you can export the database or just rebuild it on the new install.

    Or...

What are you doing with current drive when you get the new computer?

    Thanks.
I was going to hand the current computer down to someone else (it is running Win 8.1 and I think I have to keep the hard drive/copy of windows is locked to the CPU of my current machine.

I was thinning of pulling out the hard drive from the current machine and installing it into the new computer (as a secondary drive) for a short time to make copying over all the files easier though.
    (does this make sense?)

That's why I asked...it is a lot easier to copy it that way, either dropping the old drive into a USB enclosure or actually installing it in the new machine, than doing it over a network or (ouch) 'sneaker net'...USB stick/DVD/CD (real ouch) or the original meaning...floppies (does any one actually use them any longer?).
