Hi everyone, I'm wondering whether there's a Koshini 2 clone around somewhere, as we've seen Aiko 3 clones recently and there's so much lovely old clothing for Koshini. Didn't find anything on my own, but maybe someone knows of a hidden gem like that somewhere? Thanks!

Nope, but there is a tutorial to make clones. The example using dawn.
Sorry I'm so late in replying, I wasn't notified there had been a response. Thanks very much for the link to the tutorials collection! I can't find the example using Dawn though. The most useful seems to be the tute making a V4 clone for G8F, but this uses the V4 clone which comes with Genesis 1 - and there's no such clone for Koshini inside Genesis, is there? So, could you maybe give me a direct link to the Dawn clone tute? That would be real cool, thank you!
3DOutlaw has the tutorial: https://3doutlaw.com/home/?page_id=631, third from the bottom.
Thanks for that necroscension. The link from that page doesn't seem to work, but I could locate it at http://3doutlaw.com/home/wp-content/uploads/DawnV4Clone3.pdf
I'd like to try this out for Koshini too tsroemi and see if I can make sense of it and get it to work. Koshini does have some nice things - it'd be fun to try.
I haven't tried it (yet), but would the Bugga Boo head, plus one of the Anime bodies work?
Sakura 8 or a conversion of Star 2 come immediately to mind.
Honestly, I have used Koshini 1/2 in the current DS, using dForce to put G8 clothes on her. It took a bit of tweaking, but it wasn't too bad.
Thanks everyone! It'd be really nice if this is going to work out. Please do keep me posted if you're successful, I'll do the same.
If anyone is still wondering about how to convert Koshini2 clothes, I found a way by accident: There's an old program called Clothes Converter in the store here which converts all kinds of old stuff to Vicky 4. From then on, of course, one can use the usual converters. It's here: https://www.daz3d.com/clothes-converter-4-0. I tested it with Aiko 3 clothes to V4, and even on automatic, it worked really well.
Oh man, I haven't heard the name Koshini in a while. Back in my Poser 4/5 days, LLF products were all I used!
I still try to use the old stuff if I can, sometimes a new shader is really all it needs.
