Hexagon LOD = invalid UV

I am trying to decimate the Genesis 2 model in Hexagon.
I am sending the model from DAZ 4.8 to Hexagon, and I dissolved some faces.
This works fine.
I am then saving the new geometry as an obj file.

Back in DAZ I am using Edit->Object->Geometry->Load UV set... to load in the Hexagon obj file.

Unfortunately, DAZ tells me "Invalid UV".

I have recorded a video here:

Does anybody see something that I might be doing wrong?

Thank you for the help!

It would be invalid because you changed the geometry.

In D/S you can use this plugin to decimate figures ... although a lot of clothing items were not meant to be decimated.

    Here's a picture:

After making changes to the uvmap, then one would export out the obj file. Then one can load the geometry for a new uv set.

Oh jeeeees, I was so tired. I simply confused "Load UV set..." and "Add Level of Detail"!!!

When I use "Add Level of Detail", no error ocurrs, but when I switch the Resolution to my new LOD, the model disappears.
Does anybody know why this might be happening?

I have opened up the decimated model in Blender, and it looks perfectly fine. I am not sure why the characters goes invisible as soon as I load this LOD in DAZ.

Does anybody have any information about why this might happen?

Edit: I have posted a new question here (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/57572/) because in the topic description I confused UV Map with LOD.

@Patience55 Thank you very much. When I should ever really deal with UV mapping, this will be really helpful.

    You're welcome.

In general, anytime something goes "invisible" in D/S, check the opacity levels on the Surface Tab.
