Is there a way to make Genesis transparent?

I'm trying to match facial features to a picture. I've loaded the pic on a plane, scaled it and placed it right behind the face. Can I make the face transparent so I can see the picture and the face at the same time?

Select Genesis in the Scene tab, then go to the Surfaces tab and turn down the Opacity Strength slider.

Yes, In DAZ Studio 4, you need to work in the Surfaces Tab, Select > Unimesh > select the surfaces you want to be transparent.
Now go into the slider settings to the right and find the Opacity Strength and dial that down to the level you need for your work.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you! That works great!

Easier, perhaps, to make the plane partially transparent instead of Genesis and put it in front?

Also, remember to use non-perspective views (e.g., front view or right view if a profile) for matching things up.

I never thought of that. I'll give it a try. Thank you!
