Help Missing .DSF files

Just installed Daz Studio 4.5 using the download manager. Genesis figure loads ok but when I try genesis 2 it says Missing DSF file and all I get is a blocky figure. How do I fix this ?

    Do you mean DS 4.8?

    If you installed the Genesis Starter Essentials AND Genesis 2 Starter Essentials using DIM, then you need to make sure that the path to the content is listed in Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager under BOTH DAZ Studio Formats AND Poser Formats.

    DIM, by default, installs into C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library and that needs to be listed.

    The blocky figures are usually caused by DS not being able to find the 'data' folder, and that should fix it.

    Thank you, this saved me! ...7 years later, trying to work out how to load HFS morphs :-)
