Head morph question

Hi,

I'm looking at these two products: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-head-morph-resource-kit and https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morph-resource-kit-ii and I cannot decide which one to go with.

Which of these two, in your experience, can be used better? Does combining these two make any sense? Is using just one of these perfectly enough?

Thanks for all suggestions,

Ati

They are additive (different morphs in each pack), so you have more morph options if you buy both packs.
But they are both merchant resource packages.

Do you already own this pack: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle ?
If you just start out, it might be the better option.

These are also known as 'Resource Kits' and are meant for people who want to develop their own characters. It also says on the Product Page:

Use of this kit requires a working knowledge of creating morph targets in DAZ Studio.

There are at least four of these kits at the moment, and you would need to read the product description to see what each contains

A simpler way of using morphs for G2F may be by using the following ones from DAZ 3D, which requires no special knowledge.

Thanks for the answers. I already bought the https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle pack, and am trying to expand on that. Building unique characters.

From your answers I get the feeling that the resource kits work differently from the sliders in the morph bundle. Oh. Thanks a lot for pointing this out! I wasn't aware of this. I'll go do my reading. :)

You can use the resource kits pretty much like any morph set - the "some assembly required" largely refers to their use in products for distribution. Which is better is of course going to depend on which shape option you would find most useful, not a question we can really answer.
