Crocodile-Skin on Gianni :-(

hi, i very very often have a problem wtih Giannis original-skin. When i apply it the skin sometimes looks like a reptilian-skin, even when i don't use the SSS. I changed the ID in the surface-tab, but it didn't help. Shading-Rate is at 0.1.
What is the reason for this and how can i remove this problem?
Thanks for help.

your set shading rate is about render setting? or sub surface shader property, shading rate?
just to confirm,,
about subsurface circulation, you need to adjust subsurface shading rate , in Shader.
default "shading rate (sub surface)" of Giannni = 6.0 with AoA subsurface shader,
and shading scale = 0.5 , it seems work even though I render small image with zoom out.
but if I tweak shading scale more weak,= shader default 0.1, etc,
I set more low value for "subsurface shading rate"
usually keep 4 or 2 for sss shading rate,, , o rset more low value for zoom out, and small frame render.
set low value for shaing rate, cause more render time, but OK.
Then I sometimes, see when user say other shader which have subsurface proeprties,
it seems work opositte of AoA shading rate and scale, (simply because, how labelled proeprty, or circulate sss I think)
Anyaway, about AoA subsurface shader, if you use learge shading scale,
you can use learge shading rate value , but if you use low shading sclale value,
you need to set shading rate as low value (cost render time) .
And if you use Uber emviroment light,,or mesh light shader,
you often need to adjust light quality setting of light shader too.
eg light shader shading rate, and Max Error.
may change name for each light shader,,,
( with keep render setting,> shading rate as low, 0.1 is OK for most of render with quality,
but about Uber enviroment, I set more low value 0.05 etc,, to get more clean render,)
about Uber emviroment light2, there are preset for quality, if you do not hope twaek each properties of shader quality setting,
I often simply use 4x high setting light preset.
thanks for your replay. I didn't know that there is an other shading-rate except in render-settings too.
Today the setting of a value in the group-id helped.
When i set the shading-rate and scale then the crocodile-skin appears again.
when these values are 0 and there is a value <> 0 in the group-id, then it seems to work.
yesterday it didn't work but today it works.
I do not understand daz ;-)
