Special Coupons are valid too short

I got a Coupon from DAZ as a gift last friday. Very nice, thank you! But it was valid just one day (or two?). Could'nt use it, because, well, I don't buy new stuff every day. Too costly. And sometimes I miss such a thing because I have other work to do besides lurking over my PC all day long.
This wasn't the first time. Won't be the last, I fear.
It would be nice if these special coupons would work a bit longer.
I would be less dissappointed to get no coupon at all than getting one which I can't use.
