Iray Really slow

Anyone else having issues with rendering with Iray, it took over an hour for a render that was not nearly as clear in the older software.

    You might check some of the pages, including the ones for more technical issues, for Iray, listed in my sig. You might find better answers there. I can't use my gpu, and with cpu, it hasn't been any worse than rendering with 3DL and sometimes even faster. You haven't stated what you're using cardwise, OS, Studio version. In addition, depending on your lighting setup, HDRI, plus what's in your scene, play a part in what will be slow or faster.
