Opensource ImageLibrarian 0.4.3 Updated

Yesterday I have released an opensource, much needed software for Photographers, Graphic artists. I have tried Bridge, PS Elements, Irfan view etc. I needed simple straight forward and performing, customizable software, so I began to develop this about ten days back. I wish to share this with others. Please be informed that this is Beta. You can ask questions on how to use it, and raise defects, but you know the disclaimer, It is open source, and in Beta. So fingers crossed, though I had tested it with my disk worth of photos. (I haven't tested png, bmp and GIF as I have very miminal amount of such content)

Features include

  1. Ability to do a nondestructive caching of images
  2. Ability to load quickly from cache
  3. Ability to create Multiple Archives
  4. Each archive can store “Category” and “Subcategory”
  5. Archive can be password protected (just for display purpose)
  6. Meta data, Comments and Tags can be added against images
  7. Simple editor to crop, resize , rotate, flip the image
  8. Export with resize format

Updated 08-Sep-2022:

1. Performance improved (0.4.2, and 0.4.3)
2. Added a new menu option, Copy to Workfolder, which without asking where, copies to your set work folderr, to accelerate your work. (If the menu is disabled, either the folder is not set in Settings, or is not existing any more, just be aware)
3. Now copy/cut menu also copies single image(Not all selected thumbnails, but one last) to Global Clipboard to make image available for other applications (The PNGs somehow are losing transparency, not sure how to fix it at this point)

    When I went to the page, it seemed to indicate that it was for windows 10 or 11 not 7. Is this correct. Lots of us never upgraded as our hardware doesn't meet the requirements. I can't afford to upgrade just to use a new system, besides I may not be around long enough to learn it. It does look interesting though.

    Hey BronzeDragon, I sail your boat too w.r.t life. On the other hand, if your system can install .NET Framework 6.0, (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/6.0) this software might work on your computer. But I cannot claim, as I don't have the Win7 resource to check . Regret to respond with helplessness.
