Introducing the revolutionary new way to use poses from Genesis 3! Stop wasting time and hard drive space converting pose presets, just use them! With Bone Minion, you can directly use Genesis 3 poses for other generations without first converting and saving them to a preset. Your Bone Minion will do the hard work for you by acting as a bone "catcher" for a pose and then transferring (and converting if necessary) the pose to its parent Target Figure*. Simply load the desired Bone Minion (i.e., Genesis 3 Female Bone Minion for Genesis 3 Female poses) on your Target Figure (Genesis 8.1 Male), select the Bone Minion, and start applying poses!
- On-the-fly conversion of poses to your Target Figure
- Directly convert from the Source generation to the Target generation without converting to intermediate generations
- Works with full poses, partial poses**, hierarchical poses***, and even AniBlocks!
- Automatically applies full poses when they are loaded**
- Cross-gender pose conversion
- Supports Pose Properties (using the Create Heavyweight Bone Minion script)
- Use Pose Details on the Bone Minion to apply partial poses
Note that converted poses (and especially props if they are hierarchical poses) may not be perfect and may require tweaking. Facial Bones (i.e., expressions) except for the eyes are not transferred.
* Requires purchase of the correct Bone Minion product.
** Any pose that sets the hip of the Bone Minion will be automatically converted on the fly and applied to the Target Figure. The Apply Changes script can be used to transfer any pose (including partial poses) on the Bone Minion to its Target Figure.
*** Hierarchical poses require the props loaded on both the Bone Minion and the Target Figure. The prop will be properly rotated for the pose but may need to be manually translated to the correct location.

Got the bundle ,the only down side is this is reminding me of some of the issues fitting clothes to the Generation 4 figures all the poke through, oh well still love it !!This is Aiko4 with a Genesis 3 pose

Bought it on day of release and forgot to post thanks! So, "thanks!" :) The only bad part is that this has made me realize just how stupidly large my collection of G3 pose sets has become over the years, and I've got no choice now except to go through and find a better way of organizing them. :/

Ok So "this is a game changer" really.
its going upset some vendors and make some vey happy. (they can sell v4 m4 g3f g3m poses to new customers)
works very well no messing asround with V4 & M4. also with G3F/M
only problem I a, having is with "Crew Of Antares" pose sets for V7 & M7 from the adult site ( dont judge they are not that type of poses)
but will try the code out when I have time to play with it again.

The files for converting to Genesis 8.1 appears to be missing in Bone Minion for Genesis 3 Poses for Genesis 8 and 8.1.
When trying applying a G3F pose to Genesis 3 Female Bone Minion attached to a Genesis 8.1 Male, I get the following error: "Cannot convert from Genesis3Female to Genesis8_1Male. No conversion file found: data/RiverSoft Art/Common/Pose Converters/RSG3FToG8_1MPoseConversion.dse"
Checking confirms that there is no such file on disk or in the installation package.
Making a copy of RSG3FToG8MPoseConversion.dse and naming it RSG3FToG8_1MPoseConversion.dse makes the Bone Minion work as expected.
The same is true for the other combinations, as well.
Make sure all of your bone minion products have been updated. Also, make sure there are no old version lying around. The requirement for 8_1 pose conversion files was removed in a later version.
Bone Minion for Genesis 3 Poses for Genesis 8 and 8.1 is my only Bone Minion product. I completely uninstalled and downloaded a fresh copy through DIM as part of testing and troubleshooting yesterday, and I've done it again today just in case. The problem remains.

Well, this just took a turn for the weird.
When assembling a log for this, I noticed that
Genesis 3 Female Bone Minion Creating callbackline referred to the folder where I install third-party freebies, and where Bone Minion files definitely shouldn't be – it's not set as a content path in DIM, and I never install content from Daz 3D manually. Double-checking that location, I did indeed find adata\Riversoft Art\Commonfolder containing several older files. Deleting this folder fixed the problem.I tend to undiscriminately unzip downloaded freebies into this folder, so my best guess is that those files where zipped up with something else by accident, and I hadn't noticed they were there because I haven't used Bone Minion until now.
As a bonus, this seems to have fixed the intermittent issues I've been having with Pose Randomizer Pro. I guess PRP was also loading those older files sometimes? Note to self, check the log more often…
Yes, PRP could have been loading those files too. I am glad it is all fixed.
