Hello guys, I'm considering buying this http://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/i13-f68-gardentime-landscape-generator-for-poser/106855
but I want to be sure I can use it with daz, so will it work? Is it compatible? or is there any way to convert it if it isn't?
If none of those, anyone know a good Daz equivalent to this product?

Thanks in advance! ^^

I would think that as the product is specifically sold "For Poser" that It would not work in Daz Studio, especially as both the creators do have stores at DAZ 3D for their DS products.

The included props will probably work (with adjustments needed on the materials), but the landcape generator itself is based on a python script so it won't work at all in DS.

Ah yeah... but the script is the most interesting bit in this product...
So is there any daz script that does something similar?

LAMH can use objects instead of hair on surfaces like terrains and there is infinito by AM as well, I use Carrara that does this stuff natively but for a DAZ studio solution those are the two I know of.

There is a free script by Tofusan that does similar things
    http://www.sharecg.com/v/77603/gallery/21/DAZ-Studio/Replicator-for-DAZ-Studio

It works quite well. I haven't tried it in 4.8 yet though, only in 4.7

DS does have instancing which is what I use if I want a lot of plants trees etc, it tends to place he objects randomly if you use the multiple choice.

    Hi scorpio64dragon,

how does instancing place randomly? I usually get two (or more) rows behind my original object. Unfortunately this doesn`t look random at all. I would love to have Daz place them randomly. Is there an option somewhere that I have overlooked?
