    I see that too, now that you've pointed it out.   Dain 8 really lends himself to the 'hunky everyman' theory, for those looking for a close 'base' figure to dial in from for a number of gentlemen apparently.

    I decided to see if I could improve upon my Christopher Reeve morph for G8M, specifically around the brow and mouth.  I think version 2.0 is at least close to being ready, but I'd prefer to have some feedback before I release it.  If you have any comment(s) or suggestion(s), please go to the dedicated thread for this project.

    Mst KC for Kala 8 has a very similar profile: https://www.daz3d.com/mst-kc-for-kala-8

    However, Tamara Taylor's face is rounder and more importantly has much kinder eyes.  I've never modified a characer successfully without using someone else's forumula so not sure about how to do this.  Better yet, if anyone knows an easier G8F base to use so I don't have to make two purchases (Kala and Msc KC) that would be even better.

    OK, peeps, I've been working on a 'Mattified' Dain 8, which I've talked about in the Dain 8 thread.

    I'm still working on some fine tuning here.  I don't have a good 'raise right eye only' morph handy in my morph toolbox.  I do have Morph Splitter, but I've never used it so that one may be a 'last resort' option.  It doesn't feel quite right, although I've gotten pretty close on the face assysmetry.

    I've set this project aside for a few days so that I can look at it with fresh eyes, and a fresh perspective.  I'm using default G8M textures here, so the eyebrows may be throwing me off...

    Anyways, the plan is to dail out Dain 8 and offer the morph/shape, minus Dain 8 on Deviantart for free.  He looks like a completely different guy without Dain 8, but then that's not surprising.  So all you'll have to do is dial Dain 8's face back in, and pick whichever body you think is best/is closest to Matt's 'Dad/60's Kirk' bod.

    I'll keep everyone posted.  It'll be a few days though!

    I did too, but the face seems too long and narrow for Hauer. Maybe Sting as Feyd Rautha in the 1980s Dune, or a kind of blending of the two actors?

    I feel like Roy might be a couple of guys blended together, not one particular guy. The first one that strikes me is Nero from Devil May Cry 5. Nero's face is based off of Karlo Baker. Though Capcom does make some changes to suit their design goals, so Nero is not a 1:1 recreation of Baker.

    I don't really see Tamara Taylor in her but then it's been many years since I've seen her in anything.

    So much proof for people often seeing faces totally different. Even the police nowadays begins to notice that "eye witnesses" aren't very reliable when it's about identifying faces. Too often they see what they want to see, instead of what's really there ^^

    See attached. not sure how you dont see it. Its surprisingly hard to find high enough resolution images of her face to compare, but if you google it you will see. Her more recent images not so much, but the older ones of when she was younger, its a great likeness.

    I don't see her in there either and I've studied her face a lot while trying to make my own version of her, before much better ones turned up. Even in your attachment I can see the similarities I think you're referring to, yet to me it simply seems like the images/photos share those particular similarities, not that the actual faces involved look a like as a whole. If that makes sense. Given time I'm sure I can find other photos of celebs that share those same similarities because of the photos but not because they look a like.
    I'm not sure how you see this 'great likeness' but if you really do then go for it, I don't see it in any real way. :-)

    I'm surprised that You DO see a likeness. The shaoe of the eyes and nose and the angle of the mouth are totally different.

    But, as said above, people often see what they want to see :)
