One of the major reasons I am buying a new PC is because of the scene lag. I'm not sure what the scene relays on for computing.
Literally all I can have in a scene is 2 figures before my PC goes dumbo. If I have 2 figures in an area like an apartment. Clothed, good fricken luck... It takes me 3 hours to pose them due to lag. Even selecting the figure to move the fore arm lags as I click. Let alone moving the arm. There is a reason why my scenes are almost complexly empty and it has mostly to do with my scenes being so exponentially lagy that its not even worth trying to make a good scene. I need to know what to look for on specs.

I dont know model numbers or parts well. I know specs, but where people go wrong is assuming everyone in the world knows what parts of computers by model number. If you can help it, Tell me the power I need. Not the parts... Or if you need to name the part at least give a link so I can understand it.

My goal is to eliminate the scene lag. I see people with 4-8 figures in their scenes all clothed, and there able to swing the camera around and move the figures like its nothing. Thats what I want.

Try going to Edit > Preferences > Interface, slide the "Texture Resources" slider all the way to the left (Performance), and try the different "Display Optimization" settings -- some cards work better with None than with Best.
