[Elderly male  Afro-American ... and a Telecaster Model]

I went down to the crossroads
Fell down on my knees
Down to the crossroads
Fell down on my knees
Asked the Lord above for mercy
Take me, if you please

  • Not sure how elderly you want to go but https://www.daz3d.com/leroy-8 and https://www.daz3d.com/lewis-hd-for-leroy-8 might work. Or start with one of them and mix in some Floyd HD morphs or something

The reference to Robert Johnson makes this confusing, because he died young, and also well before the Telecaster existed. My first thought when I saw the thread title was that you were going for Curtis Mayfield, but now I just think you're doing fanart of the movie Crossroads.

Don't worry, I had that thought organically because I'm familiar with that song and Robert Johnson.

I just wanted to go with one of the most famous bluies classics ever. I could have posted some lines from Mannish Boy jst as well.

Besides I want to work on a modern twist of that famous (of course completely historical) scene at a Crossroads of Johnson selling his soul to the Devil.

That would have made a lot more sense, as Muddy was known to play a Tele.
