Hair sticking to the backs of ears...

So I'm putting together a Satyr (HFS: Faunus), with long ears... And I try to use GN Elven Hair (you know, as elves have long ears), and for the most part I like it.... Except the hair is sticking to the backs of the ears, making them look funny. I'm playing with some of the morphs, and it looks better, but, is there a way to make the ears stick out of the hair and not to the hair? I'm thinking I might delete the ears, and make a ear prop, but I'm hoping there is a simpler way.

Select the hair and gp to the Parameters pane with "Show Hidden Parameters" on, and dial back the autofollow-generated morph.
Note that this trick only works if the head shape and the ear shape are two different morphs controlled by two different dials. If the ear shape is part of the head morph, it gets more complicated.
Ok, Well, I don't seem to have a Autofollow-generated morph dial (or anything that resembles it)... and I ended up with a mess with the hair on the front of the ears...
A quick work-around I found was to not fit the hair to the figure, but just parent it to the head... this seems to work... but I'm out of time to play tonight... Thanks for the help.
(in case it make a difference I'm using Genesis with redirect transforms.... The only Autofollow I could find was a switch from redirect transforms to autofollow transforms....)
yes,, then actually some products head morphs are offered without dividing eye rush morph, or ear shape morph etc.
(some case, even vendor send it as separate for user , I hear,, daz change it when up-date the product,
and re- package them for another reason.,, though I do not know clear what happend actually,,
just user get such morphs as up-date product, then we can not use the easy way to remove the auto-follow problem anymore)
about these case, (and if you hope "fit to"), we may need to make original projection morph for
restrict auto-follow effect for those morphs.
then I feel half of user may not know what is projection morphs, and even though they find it,
without other modeling tool, we can not make it.
(that means ,,I really hope vendor offer head morphs with carefully thinking, when user set hair,
and daz re-check it when they up-date and re-package them)
