Issues with dForce Darcy 8 Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s)
I'm using Daz3D Studio 4.20.0.17 and I've been trying to use [dForce Darcy 8 Hair for Genesis 8 Female(s)] this product for some time now, and it never works properly. When you select your Genesis Female 8.1 character, and load dforce Darcy Hair onto it (and it becomes paranted to your character) the hair only populates the front of the model:
...which is a problem when you render:
So to fix this, I unparented Darcy 8 Hair and positioned it where it needed to be:
...Unfortunately, when the hair isn't parented, you can't apply the "Material" changes, like hair length or hair color. Not only that, but the hair does not render when unparented:
Using "Fit to" on the hair to place it on the character produces the same glitched results from when only the front of the head is given hair.
Eventually, I tried this hair on a GF8 base model, since I thought "Maybe my custom morph on my GF8.1 created a conflict with Darcy 8 Hair's shape?" and to my surprise, it worked. So I've concluded this hair does not work with Genesis Female 8.1, which is a shame.
I know this is an old product, but will it eventually be patched for 8.1?
If not, how can I get a refund, since I no longer use GF8?

It has everything to do with the changes they've made to the UVs. Dforce and strand based hair are UV dependent and as such, Genesis 8.1 breaks them.
I'd suggest you do the following.
1: Export Genesis 8 female base as a OBJ.
2: import as a scene object
3: Use the transfer tool to equip to Genesis 8.1 like a set of clothes.
4: Put the opacity of the dummy up to 100%
5: Equip the hair to the dummy. It will have all the proper UVs and will display all the hair.
