Hi there,
Maybe i'm wrong, but i haven't seen the answers to my questions elsewhere. So i ask here :
1) is there a tool for automatic batch conversion for v4/m4 poses to genesis 2 or 3 poses ?
2) is there a tool for automatic batch conversion for g2f <-> g2m poses ?
3) is there a tool for automatic batch conversion for old .exe installers from daz products to runtime files and directories ?
Thanks warmly for answers.

Is there a reason for using the .exe installers instead of downloading the zips?
is this what you're looking for
http://www.daz3d.com/batch-convert-gen4-poses-to-duf-format
my cat figures are very morphed beings based on genesis and I'm often surprised at how easily the poses transfer..>
---
the adult cat is set with a V4 pose and the kitten from a horse riding pose
these were done with poser format poses...
Thanks, but the description of the product says it convert poser .pz2 format to daz .duf format. I don't see if it convert gen4 to genesis, am i wrong ? I mean, to adapt poses form v4 to g2f, say, as http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-to-genesis-3-pose-converter does.
Thanks
I have bought lot of things from daz, in the time they were in .exe format, and that's a pain to manage, must say...

You can re-download them form your Product library in zip format
You can re-download them form your Product library in zip format
That's good news, thanks !
However, i suppose this have to be done product by product ?... and i have a long list... still better if could have a tool that makes all the work by just one mouse click...
Why not just use the Daz Install Manager? It will download and install all your stuff for you.It also handles updates to all your purchases.I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with all 800 products I've bought by hand.
Thanks,
That s because i have to manage runtimes on professionnal ways on a per project basis, with versionning management functionalites for example, and the daz install manager is a simple tool not tailored for such things. Then, i don't want to have all installed at the same time but only what is necessary for a given project, i need to get archives of what was used for a finished project including daz studio versions (and then no uncontrolled updates of whatever), and so on. I plan to use a software versionning tool cvs style for managing librairies, documentation, and so on.
Futhermore, i wish to write scripts for automatic management tools, like buiding classified catalogs using thumbnails, for example, or automatic renaming for having things correctly organised in the library pane of daz studio.
For example, automatic installation via daz installl manager don't give control how the product is installed in the library, which implies further manual work if one wants things to be ordered in the pane, which i want to avoid.
Having reference library organised on file level with a classification tree and with script tools for management, and to install products on actual runtime on a project basis, is what i wish. That's why the .exe format is a problem.
That is, my purpose is to optimize workflow and spare maximum time...
exe files are mostly just compressed files like zips.In some cases you can just rename them to .zip and use the windows tools to decompress them.I use 7zip and it can handle just about all forms of compression.
What you're suggesting is certainly a huge undertaking to say the least, but it does sound interesting.(I'm a Gentoo user so I prefer GIT to CVS personally.) If I'm not mistaken , there are several products available to do handle the content library as you describe.I've not used any of them myself, so I don't know how well they work.
Remember, you don't have to install with DIM, you can just use it to download all the zips so you don't have to do it one product at a time. You can then unzip them manually. Or you can use DIM to install items to different content folders, or to install and uninstall content as you need it. You can also use it to install to a dummy location if you then want to rearrange or rename folders before putting them in your real content folders.
