Noob - How do you export FBX files of props in Daz3D? (screen shot)

New to Daz3d, but I would like to export some of these props I bought, and modify them in Blender, but I don't seem to know how? Every time I try, the FBX file is empty.

Is there an effective way to get all the props/assets?

Guessing it has something to do with the export settings saying "no props".

  • What are you wanting to do? For many purposes OBJ might be better (though if you want to make morphs it is important to check the options to preserve vertex order on both import into and export from Blender, and to use the same preset both ways in the options in Daz Studio)

Indeed, I'd advise obj for any mesh (unrigged) data going in and out of Daz. Especially if you're using blender.

Export, from Daz, exports everything that's visible in the viewport (not what's selected).

So simply hide what you do not want. And everything else will be exported.
