Notebook or Desktop pc?

Hi, I have a notebook Msi I5 8GB 250MB card. It took me like 30min render a simple scene with "Pre- rendered high settings" of Daz Studio. Im considering buy a new one...

Which is the best notebook or pc for Daz?

Im thinking in those: Desktop pc---------- Dell 2x Xeon E5 2665 8 GHz/ 32GB ram/ QUADRO 4000 2GB DDR5 card

                                 Notebook------------ Dell Precision I7 3940xm/ 32GB ram/ Nvidia K5000m 4GB card

Thanks!

I am using a 4 year old dell precision. I like it, but it is getting long in the tooth. I would definitly buy the extended warranty and keep your hard drive,  since my hard drives have failed more than once and no way I'm giving my hard drive to dell.  I Would also get the solid state drive, if possible.

Obviously, any desktop with good specs will mostly outperform a laptop, but I like the portability, so I can render at work.

Definitely go with the desktop you will always get more for your money with it. With the extra money you save over a laptop, buy a screaming gpu video card. wink

Seriously though, a desktop gives you a lot more upgrade options than a laptop.
