apps run minimised and wont open?

Hi

I have a new install of windows 8.1 and a clean new install of daz studio, when i try to open them it is minimised and refuses to open any idea's

there are also a lot of broken links out there and no way to search the forum so sorry if its duplicated

    Do other programs do that too?

    Have you tried running DAZ Studio as Administrator, it usually requires that?

    Hi Jimmyc_2009. Yes other programs do this too

    However here is the solution

    Solution

    Press the Windows button and P on your keyboard connected to the PC

    This gives you the option to select from 4  settings

    Choose PC screen only

    Im using dual monitors for some reason setting it to Extend, causes an Issue

    The Geforce 970 card has 3 display ports + HDMI + DVI

    I was using 1 display port to HDMI + DVI via a converter to HDMI

    I have now bought two Display to HDMI cables and all is well
