Dynamic clothing isn't very dynamic

About a million years ago i purchased a Kimono dress from Daz. At the time i was even dimmer than i am today, and i missed the fact that this was a dynamic clothing item. Ever since i have occasionally flirted with dynamic clothing, always giving it up because i couldnt figure out how to make it work.
Anyway i am back at it again. I went to Opt tex and checked out some tutorials including one relating to a pillow. There was a lot of importance placed on physics and a walk through which showed controls you could adjust within the dynamic clothing plug in. Unfortunately i don't seem to have these controls, or if i do, i can't find them. Can anyone help me out here please. I attach a screen shot of those controls shown on the video.

Does the item say it is for DAZ Studio or for Poser? Poser dynamic clothing will not work in DAZ Studio.
If it IS the correct, Daz, item, from memory it is not rigged and requires a 'special' arms angled down pose (supplied with item) to get V4 to fit nicely at start of drape.
Those look like the options available in the full, paid for, Dynamic Cloth Control plugin, not the free basic version included in Studio.
So from the replies do i assume that in order to have access to some tools they must be available in the actual product. Or are these physics tools only availabe from the DAz dynamic clothing control by Opti tex at the bargain price of $49.95...
Not really sensible to pursue this until its clear and maybe not even when it is...
Thank you
Yes, the full plugin is $50 and has all those options...but the item in question should still work, if it's the Studio version and not the Poser one, with the basic plugin and this http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload04.php (Free Fabric Presets). Those presets have most of the options, as preset fabric types, but not editable, as the full plugin...weights, etc.
I played around with the dynamic control (free version) for a bit, then decided to try the full version; glad I did as it is far more versatile - it does take some time to get used to, but it works great.
Just wish there were more choices and textures available for the clothing available.
Thank you so much for this info. I rather suspected that to get full control one would need to buy the full version. There is no doubt that potentially this would be very good, but not sure its worth $50 considering the limited items and textures available. One thing though, its not hard to jazz up the terxtures with lots of freebies easily obtained.
