Feet stretched out of shape

Not my own feet, I should point out.

Sometimes when I use a pose on a figure it wasn't intended for the figure"s feet or hands sometimes stretch, like Mr Fantastic. Is there any way to stop or correct this?

What figure was it intended for, and what figure are you using it on?

Genesis 3 Female has a lot of extra foot bones as I recall, so that may be the problem.   If you can tell me what you are using, I can give it a try here.

The figure was a freebie by a person called Ice Boy, from Renderosity (I think) and is basically a low poly version of M4, useful for background figures and so on. The pose was for M4.

I don;t have your figure to try, but I used Lorenzo Lores, and applied M4 poses, and I am not getting any distortion, even though Lorenzo is les than 6 k polys.

It may have more to do with how the figure was rigged, rather thatn the poly count?   Sorry i can't help more.

I'm not sure, but I think on my old computer (before it went to computer heaven) I had a script in DS that specifically fixed distorted hands and feet.

You could try checking in Richard Haseltine's sig box for a link to available scripts for DS?

I can't find his sig box. Maybe it isn't on the new forum for some reason?

I think it was the script called "reset hands and feet", but when I click on it I get "error 523: origin is unreacgable".

Select the hands and feet (and fingers & toes) and lock translations at zero.

Nope, that didn't work. He's still stretching.
