Mimic File Error?

DekeDeke Posts: 1,631

I'm trying to use Mimic in Daz 4.6 32 bit. It plays a line of dialogue find but when I go to "analyze" it I get an error. Log says that Talkback could not open specified sound file (locked or doesn't exits."  Any ideas on what has gone wonky.  Seemed to work find just a few days ago. I've tried .wav and .aiff files.

I'm having a devil of a time getting my Daz 4.8 character to talk.  I have managed to get Mimic Lip Sync to recognize an audio file and turn it in to some mouth moves. What's the rest of the process?  I have saved the timeline keyframes as an Aniblock and them brought that into 4.8 64 bit. When I apply it to a character, however, only their head moves. Not the mouth.  Any reliable workflow tips?

OK the audio definitely has to be 16 bit 44,100 Hertz you can't have any spaces in your file path ....I made my text file that holds the text of the audio( which is good to have)

and the file name of the wav file to be this:

    "C:\Users\W\Downloads\mothersday\audio\look.wav"

    "C:\Users\W\Downloads\mothersday\audio\look.txt"

     so no spaces.

I was getting errors until I did that one day and figured that out ....there might be more leeway... but why even try this works
