Poser Rigging issues: Editing existing Model

(Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong section,. couldn't find anywhere else to dump this)

Hello. I'm looking for someone whom has experience with rigging in Poser Pro 2014 whom can help with an edit I made of an existing model.

I had purchased the Daz Dolphin for use in some sea renders, and while I can say the creator of the model did a good job, the tail mainly bugged me and such I went in and did some edits to make it more anatomically correct (for personal use). This done by editing the base OBJ file in Zbrush as I could not get it to accept the change as a morph, so it’s saved as its own figure.  Mainly made the changes by pushing and pulling the pollys, the body segments and groupings are unchanged.
(If you’re at all curious as to what I did: http://i.imgur.com/5IQmARr.png My edits the bottom one)

Now this edit worked fine. However the real issue came in when I chose to change the model into a calf (baby) version. No, babies are not undersized adults as so many make them to be.

As you can see, there are many differences.

Now here is where I run into an issue. The bone structure is being troublesome for the front half of the model. The tail end works perfectly, but the front end does not.

As you can see there are two areas of issue. One is just in front of the dorsal (back fin) it caves in hen bent and it seems no matter how I edit the bones it don’t go away. The other is the teeth. It seems to be grabbing more than it should. Now before you go and say ‘well you merged the polys’

There’s the same model before any bone corrections are made. The mouth open and closing is the only thing that works proper at that stage. It’s only after I shift the bones so the bends are at the right location (instead of the center of the mouth as shown)  does the mouth start grabbing extra bits.

I’m hoping someone can help me with this issue as it is bothering me to no end and thus far no amount of shifting or editing the bones has made much effect. Rigging is my weakest point and I've yet to be able to get a proper grasp on it.(Thus why I opted to edit this existing model vs using one I made myself)

The current setup being used. The bone set up is unchanged from the default model, just shifted to fit the alterd shape.
