DIM daz studio 64bit macos install failure

So im a newbie,  I downloaded the installer manager , set it up, downloaded and installed all the packs or whatever they are called, except for the Daz studio 64 bit , its downloaded, but everytime I attempt to install it, it just says "install failed!"  I have plenty of space on my external hard drive that i installed everything else with, im so confused, anybody know what i can do to fix this? Im currently using my macbook air (i do not have a pc)

 heres the deets of my mac if that helps 

device - MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2014)

Processor -  1.4 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5

graphics - Intel HD Graphics 5000 1536 MB

This is probably Gatekeeper blocking DIMHelper, which handles the isntallation of software (as opposed to content - not just literal software but anything that needs to go into a protected location). You need to whitelist DIMHelper.
