How to make hair work

Hi guys. I'm new to Daz. I recently purchased the Goth Doll pack including hair(Ponytail). But I can't get the hair to work. I got to the visible stage but can't get the color I want. Does anyone have this hair and can help me. PLEASE.

So you have the hair loaded and selected but the presets are not chnaging it? Have you tried rendering?
