Turning off Visible in Simulation for Child Nodes

So I frequently find myself wanting to turn off Visible in Simulation for a hand,  or forearm and hand.  With that, I'd also like to turn it off for all the finger child nodes.  It's easy to hide them all, but when selecting hand and children, and turning off Visible in Simulation only affects the nodes I individually select, rather than all selected nodes.  Hidden nodes still interact with garments I'm dForcing if Visible in Simulation isn't turned off.

Is there a way around this?

I use dForce constantly, and I never used "visible in simulation" once.

Scene Tab : Ctrl+Click the eye icon of any bone hides all its children. Hide Lower neck > All head is gone. Hide Hand > All fingers are gone, etc.

What's visible in the viewport is simulated or acts as a collision object during a dForce simulation.

What's hidden from the viewport is not simulated nor taken into account during a dForce simulation.

I wish that were true for hidden parts of visible objects, but it's not.

It is best to run some simple tests before asserting unproven certainties ;) I made this image because it may be better than words but again, as I wrote above :

hidden objects AND hidden parts of visible objects are NOT taken into account by a dForce simulation.
