GenX Error: Poser figure not supported

When I try to load a character I get this error:
GenX - Loading figure: Victoria 4.2
Loading figure file ...
Resolving script calls ...
Loading geometry file ...
C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/Geometries/DAZPeople/blMilWom_v4b.obj
Poser figure not supported.
I haven't used GenX in a while, I can't remember if I've worked with it since I upgraded to 4.8; I think so but I can't really say for sure.
Not sure what the problem is or how to fix it so any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are some threads elsewhere that talk about problems that cropped up between the 4.8 public beta and final release. You need to move some GenX-related settings files in your AppData folder from the previous version to the new.
I'm having the same issue. Was there ever a solid fix?!
If it's GenX 2 and the target is Genesis 2, try reinstalling the generation 4 legacy shapes for genesis 2. Some things (like reinstalling the GenX2 plugin) seem to make the plugin forget that the legacy shapes are there.
