New Animation. Sci Fi Funk 12 "Suicide Rush Hour"

Found the right way to present this episode finally. Created in Carrara and rendered via the Octane Plugin.

The balcony scene had my machine screaming for mercy. It was very hard to squeeze all of those models and textures into an 8GB machine, I did it with some compromise. That scene is one of the most powerful visions I had when initialy devising the plot, so it is a relief to actually see it rendered.

The Demo of Episode 13 is out tomorrow.

Looks good.  Some of the scenes remind me of my college days on campus.  I lived on the third floor of the residential college, an area called the "Alley", ate out of vending machines, etc.  So yeah, your story is pretty scary ...

The lack of hair, is that a 2064ad thing or is it to speed up the rendering and squeeze everything into memory ? laugh

    Thanks for your comments everyone.

SteveK - ha ha. Was the food that bad?

Head Wax - Thanks. I like your new avatar.

Mikael-aronsson. - Clever! Well I am influenced by this film to a certain extent http://lucasfilm.com/thx-1138 , but yeah it's also a convient way of cutting down the character creation time and rescuing scenes that are already causing my machine to beg for mercy.

And now I am pleased to present the demo version of EPISODE 13 "TV is your friend".

The fund raising on Kickstarter didn't work out for me, so I decided to make a minimal version of this one and move on to the more exciting episodes.

it is I would guess both wink a future society may well be hairless as a fashion choice, the fact the protagonist is uber hirusute as well as choosing an odd outfit on misinformed advice of future fashion which makes him stick out like a sore thumb.

the handy advantage is cutting down resources
