iray presets not showing

    Click on the Editor tab for settings, I'm not sure that there are any presets by default.

    Logic suggests there should be at least two showing up. The standard 4.8 install places Iray Advanced Render Settings and Sundial Set under My Library/Render Presets/Iray. As this is a default location, this is where they ought to be, one would think.

    I also have have a few items I added under My Library/Presets/Render Settings, and those don't show up either.

    i got the one preset light, no sundial.

    I don't have any defualts under Iray presets, only items from content I purchased.

    just ran a full searh on my drivefor sundial - not found

    ShadePrests- a lot gone. Shaders - gone.

    Coping \\backup\Users\Public and \\backup\Users\Ikyoto to C:\Users\Public (all applicable respectivly from old to new). will update when don. Hug under taking, but seems to be working.

    I *thought* these were installed with 4.8. I wonder if they were part of the publ;ic beta (I kept the same My Library). They're not my presets, because the file dates are wrong.

    On my system, 'Sun Dial Set.duf' is a text file, and shows Daz as author. The file 'Iray Advanced Render Settings.duf' is binary, and I don't have a binary DSON reader, so I'm not sure who made it, but the file date is 6/23, same as many other included files. These are located in my main D|S runtime, same as I've had for 4.x for several years:

    c:\Users\[username]\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Render Presets\Iray

    Possibly:

    From the "DAZ Studio 4.8 Pro" product, one of the downloads is "Default Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio 4.8+", which looks like it has iray shader presets.

    the over write from th backup dis worked od hat the installs id't put the same files in
